Flourishes Free for all Friday

Free for All Friday with BorderIt’s Friday so we're bringing you another round of inspiration created with our brand new December Release Stamp sets by the Senior Design Team. It’s always fun for us to show off the versatility of these beautiful sets one more time while you can still purchase the December New Release Bundle at a discount! Today is the last day this discount is available and we don’t want you to miss out!

I decided to use the Champagne glass from the Lots of Thoughts set today.  I colored the glass with Y21, from the Sunflower Copic Collection, then added some Icicle Stickles to make it look all bubbly.  The strawberry was colored with R35 and R30 from the Dahlia Copic Collection.  I stamped "Cheers" with Oasis Green VersaMagic, and added some Shabby White Embossing Enamel to the edges of it, along with the diecut frame.

Below is a close up of the sparkle!  I added some Enamel Dots (Teresa Collins) to the sentiment border too.

Here are links to the Copic Collections I used:

Flourishes December Release Preview ~ Day 3

LotsOfThoughtsGFXWell, we’ve arrived at our last day of December New Releases at Flourishes! Haven’t they been true blossoming beauties? Today, we’re pleased to bring you one more! It’s an all occasion set that celebrates some of the most delightful events with wonderful playfullness! This stamp set is called Lots of Thoughts for a reason! With six whimsical images illustrated by Marcella Hawley, you have just the right mix of sentiments for birthday, congratulations, thank you and cards of encouragement. It's the perfect set for any and all occasions! Set measures 4" by 6”. Ideas are blooming plentifully in our design team creations with this sweet set.

I love hot air balloons, and have even ridden in one a couple of times over Lake Tahoe in Nevada.  It's an experience I treasure and will never forget.  I also love the sentiment "You Lift Me Up?" So this was a "no brainer" for me.  I colored two balloon images with Copics and then set to making my sky background for them.  I thought the splotchy background from the So Distressed set would make beautiful clouds.  And so it did!!  I used So Noted, decorative paper, by Carta Bella for my base, and some Spellbinders dies as well as some Enamel Dots and Viva Decor Pearl Pens to dress it up.

Here are a couple of close up's, (one without all the extra elements) so you can see how great this image is for clouds.

Flourishes December Release Preview ~ Day 1

NumbersInBlossomGraphicHello Flourishes friends! Welcome to our December Sneak Peeks! Once again we’re proud to begin our New Release Sneak Peeks to you, they have a wonderful theme of “blossoming". Today’s set joins a gorgeous family of sets and many of you have been looking for it to complete the collection. Introducing Numbers in Blossom.

Part of the special Flourishes Blossoms Collection, numbers never looked so pretty! This 4 by 6" set features hand-drawn numerals, by Marcella Hawley, that have been embellished with beautiful florals. This set offers a one-of-a-kind way to create gorgeous correspondence, birthday or anniversary items, or even home decor. This set is the perfect companion to sister sets Happily Ever After, Letters in Blossom and Summer Blossoms. Blossoming inspiration is yours along the way today with our talented design team and this set.

I decorated a Christmas tree with a vintage theme this year, and thought it would be fun to add a House Luminary with the number "25" on it for Christmas.  So, after putting together my little house ornament (which is from a kit designed by Cathe Holden from this years Spellbound Event that I attended in November), I added the "fussy cut" numbers.  I started by stamping them, with Gray Flannel Memento ink, onto Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock, and colored them with two Copic Collection sets:  Lenten Rose and Olive Green.  I then added some sparkle with Silver German Glass Glitter to the numbers and Prisma Glitter to the flowers.  I made the flower on the front by gathering some sparkly ribbon and adding a rhinestone to the center.  That about sums up my project for today.

Mystery-Blogger-GraphicSo, while you’re hopping and looking at their creations, don’t forget to try to figure out who the Mystery Blogger is.  Hidden among the Design Team’s blogs today is our Mystery Blogger of the day. Be sure to stop on by tomorrow when we share a lovely set that will inspire beauty, strength and courage blooming even on the coldest of days!

eta:  I was asked to show a complete picture of my Victorian tree.  It's actually 3 different sized trees put together in an antique milk crate.  I didn't light it up so the ornaments, flowers, and lace would be more visible.  All in all, it's about 4ft tall.  Some of the ornaments are antique, some are handmade, and others are newer.

Thank you so much for dropping by!
Happy Stamping!!
